Our Origin Story
We started Rhythmic Technologies nearly 20 years ago after observing the pervasive but chaotic way tech was creeping into every business. More startups and small businesses found themselves responsible for mission-critical production systems, but traditional IT practices called for a small army just to keep the lights on.DevOps shifted much of the responsibility back to agile development teams, but it was no replacement for the gritty discipline of 24x7x365 operations and the standards of practice the IT industry had forged over 50 years.Rhythmic balances the agility of the DevOps mindset with the maturity and discipline of the IT industry to run the most demanding systems efficiently and effectively.
What We Believe
The best foundations are simple
Complex problems require creative solutions, but the challenge is in keeping it simple. We love finding elegant solutions and building them together with clients. Nothing kills our passion more than unnecessarily complicated systems that serve egos more than needs.
Listening Solves the Right Problem
Active listening is the most important step in problem solving. Too much time is wasted fixing the wrong problem. Listening helps us solve the right problem the first time. This reduces stress. And drama.
Formalities Are Walls
We think formalities prevent teams from performing. We care deeply about building relationships and working together to accomplish bold things. We don’t have agendas, drama, or bullshit. Just a genuine commitment to achieving success together.
Work Should Feel Good
Side effects of our mindset include work getting done on budget and ahead of schedule, no excess bureaucracy, and happy teams on both sides that know what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and where they’re headed.
