Safety

We Embed Safety in All We Do

The foundation of an effective safety program is company culture. The culture must promote values and activities that protect the security, integrity, and privacy of customer data. We embed safety into our culture by keeping it top of mind at all times.

We foster a blameless culture that embraces learning while also maintaining high levels of accountability. This balance is difficult to achieve – equal parts yin and yang.

We pull it off by staying true to our core values in all we do. That includes using core values for strategic decision-making, hiring and firing, performance reviews, and creating operational processes.

Safety Starts at the Top

Rhythmic leaders have been running the most complex, demanding systems for more than 25 years. The leadership team is directly responsible for the safety program, creating and overseeing training programs, reviewing processes continuously, and communicating information that promotes and impacts security regularly and clearly. This hands-on approach ensures our leadership’s extensive experience directly results in systems and practices that consistently meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

“What impresses me most about our safety culture is its pervasiveness. It’s not confined to specific teams or projects—it’s a fundamental part of our company DNA. The balance we maintain between accountability and a blameless culture is truly remarkable. It creates an environment where we can openly discuss challenges and mistakes, using them as opportunities for growth rather than reasons for punishment.”

— Kathie Clark, VP of Operations

Independently Audited

We are SOC 2 Type II Certified. This means that our business, technology and security practices are held to a globally recognized standard and validated annually by an independent auditor. In between audits, we use third-party services to provide continuous monitoring of our security controls.

Continuous Improvement

Tech is and always has been fueled by change. While we do not know what tomorrow’s best practices will be, we do know they will be different from today’s practices. We review key processes annually, conduct post-mortems after major incidents, and invest in training programs for our employees.

“Our commitment to safety is a vital part of who we are—it empowers us to drive forward, innovate, and succeed, while always keeping our people and our work environment secure. We foster a culture of safety that is driven by our values. We approach every challenge with a ‘no bullshit’ attitude, addressing issues truthfully and creatively to find the best problem-solving solutions.”
